Greetings and salutations! Tis now the month of June and I am back from vacation and ready to blog. Lucky you :)

This week, I bring to your attention some fabulous finds I spotted while at The Ruby Pear, a tea room in Noblesville, IN. Sure, you can't all be lucky enough to have cucumber sandwiches, tea and scones at The Pear, but you can go to Ibis & Orchid Designs to see the beautiful night lights I saw there. I hoped to find a fairy light, but the flowers reminded me of a fairy garden, nevertheless <3

Ibis & Orchid also makes some beautiful votives, candle sticks, vases, wall sconces and more!

Today, I'm extremely excited to tell you all about a special artist: my friend Amber Renee Amick! Amber and I went to college together, and we're both cat ladies who love our felines too much (so what?!).

I'm not sure I have ever met someone so artistic, creative, and crafty. Or colorful, vibrant and quirky (in a good way, of course). Her creations are definitely one of a kind, and you should check out her wonderful Blogazine, Miseducated.net, for many fun reads and to-dos, as well as her store on Etsy.com for more of the fantastical, girly goodies I'm about to show you.

Mini Magic - in French!

I was lost within the inner-workings of Google today, searching for fabulous fairy finds. I almost settled for something that was "so-so" to post on here. But, something told me to keep looking. Onward, said the little voice. Search onward.

When I did, I found this gorgeous website by Miss Clara, a French artist who makes magical artwork. See: Le Jardin de Miss Clara

What does that mean? I haven't the foggiest. But if you scroll down you can read an English version of her home page, which tells you enough to click the GORGEOUS banner to navigate through her beautiful, whimsical artwork. You can enjoy, also, nature noises and magical sound effects in the background. Frankly, her website is a work of art if you ask me, but what I really would like to point out are such works as:

Yesterday, my mother was lamenting a stone garden fairy she passed up last summer and it got me thinking (dangerous, I know). I haven't sought for too many outdoorsy relics as of yet.

So, I thought I would peruse the WWW for whimsical outdoor decor. Hence, I found and swooned over this birdfeeder from GardenFairy.com

Isn't it charming, magical and classical? I'll also take "slightly creepy" in a no-pupil-grinning-stone sort of way. But we can overlook that in light of the fact that it FEEDS the BIRDS! LOVE it!

Greetings and salutations, Fae Lovers!

I have returned from a rather lengthy hiatus and I hope to update this rather regularly with goodies I find buried within the nooks and crannies of the internet.

Today I want to bring to your attention a fabulous website you may already be familiar with.

Badali Jewelry provides exclusive jewelry for several fantasy series, as well as beautiful fantasy jewelry in general. LOVE their stuff!

Personally, I own the Great Serpent Ring from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I bought my ring here and I wear it every day!

But, while I was at JordanCon (a convention dedicated to the Wheel of Time), I fell in love with several more of Badali's fantasy rings at their booth. Like this:

I adored this one, as well, especially with a green jewel in the leaf:

Of course, Badali does much more than Wheel of Time and much more than rings. I suggest checking them out. They have jewelry dedicated to the Zodiac, Lord of the Rings, Pirates and Celtic culture and much more!

Hiatus

Hello, all. I am quite busy during the evenings at home and during the day at work (where I usually find my goodies and do my posting) so until things slow down, I'm taking a brief hiatus. Fear not, for I shall return!

In the mean time, I suggest reading the Fablehaven series. The fifth and final book comes out March 23. It's absolutey delightful! :)

Ok...away I go to let time have its way with me!

Promethean Decal has a whole lot of wicked decals to spice up your lappy, but this one just struck my fancy. Though, if Snow White were to get a computer I have the distinct feeling she'd steer clear of Apples. Maybe HP should look into that.

I love shadow boxes, and I would really love to have one of these shadow boxes from Centaur1201 on Etsy.com. Isn't it beautiful? This particular shadow box is made to look like an old, leather-bound book in which you can peer into a magical, faery realm! All those leaves and vines make me happy.
